CTRL/CMD + k - use to insert a link quickly in Docs, Sheets, Slides after selecting text, image, shape, or cell.
Create QR Code in Chrome
At the end of Chrome's address bar is the "Share this page" tool (to the left of the bookmark star.) Within "Share this page is a "Create QR Code option." Select it while at any site to quickly get info to participants OR copy it for future use by pasting it into a Doc, Slide, or Draw file.
Open New Google file
toolsname.new - In the address bar of Chrome, type docs.new, sheets.new, slides.new, forms.new, and drawings.new to open a new file quickly. You must use Chrome browser and need to be signed into a Google account.
Open Next Tab
CTRL/CMD+1, 2, 3, 4... - have a lot of tabs open? use this shortcut to open tab 1, 2 , 3 and so on.
Reopen a Closed Tab in Chrome
CTRL/CMD+Shift+t - oops! closed a tab? use this shortcut key to open closed tabs (go back in time!) in the same window
Save Page as Bookmark
CTRL/CMD+d - or use the star at the end of the omnibox (address bar).
